I am a seasoned child development expert with extensive experience in consulting and trning for children and families across various domns. My career path began as a clinical social worker, specializing in child and family therapy. I was subsequently offered the opportunity to lead ZERO TO THREE's parenting education initiatives, translating scientific insights into accessible information for both parents and professionals.

For more than two decades, I spearheaded this effort at ZERO TO THREE, creating comprehensive resources and trning programs on diverse topics like early brn development, positive parenting strategies, and management of challenging behaviors. The goal was to empower caregivers to foster their children's optimal health and development. Recognizing the importance of integrating behavior support into pediatric care settings, I also trned pediatricians and residents at Children's Pediatricians and Associates CPA, enhancing their ability to provide comprehensive guidance for parents.

Today, as a dedicated consultant primarily focused on families with children up to eight years old, my approach bls insights from mental health, clinical experience with thousands of cases, profound knowledge in early development amassed through ZERO TO THREE's work, and personal parenting experiences that continue to inform and enrich my practice. As my kids have grown, so has my understanding, which I still apply every day.

In addition to family consultations, I continue to educate pediatric residents on the nuances of child behavior and development within healthcare settings and offer guidance for local preschools in managing challenging behaviors effectively.

I am thrilled to contribute to Little Otter Health's mission as an advisor, a venture that provides advanced online mental health care for children aged 0-12, in collaboration with experts in child psychiatry from prestigious institutions like NYU Langone and Duke University.

My consultancy is characterized by a collaborative approach where parents are the primary experts on their children. I facilitate partnerships between families and myself as an expert in early childhood development and parenting techniques. My role involves guiding families through of understanding their children's behaviors, uncovering the underlying drivers, such as a child's developmental stage, temperament, family dynamics, or environmental influences.

With this deeper insight, I help parents develop strategies that address immediate challenges while equipping children with essential skills like emotional expression, cooperation, adaptability, confidence in tackling difficulties, peer relationships, and group functioning.
